Sr Database Architect - Infrastructure Engineer Chicago, IL Long Term Job Summary: This position is responsible for configuring and administering Oracle engineered systems: Oracle Database Appliances, Exadata, and Exalytics. Job Responsibilities * Performs administrative actives such as upgrade/patching,configuration, backup, monitoring on engineered systems for projects. * Tests Oracle engineered system's releases and patches. Document and track issue logs resolution for assigned tasks. Qualifications: * Expertise in administrating various Oracle engineered systems - OracleDatabase Appliances, Exadata, and Exalytics * Experience with Linux operating systems (Linux admin experience a plus) * Experience with troubleshooting potential configuration problems. * Experience with OEM * Experience with ITIL process * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands Regards..
