*Interview mode: PhoneJob Description: **Work within the Development Systems Engineering R&D team for systems engineering tools administration and support. *Use and perform administration, mentoring, consulting, training, and general expertise for tools and databases to manage requirements, tracing, issue tracking, documentation, and software revision control. *This includes associated tools support for various R&D product development and test groups. *Skills * *Requires expertise with IBM Rational Suite usage and administration, including RequisitePro, ClearQuest, and ClearCase, as well as, Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) template development and report generation. *Similar experience with DOORS, Rational TestManager and Test RealTime, or similar tools is a strong benefit. *Strong experience with systems & requirements analysis, design, and modeling, along with administration, management, and maintenance of such, is preferred. *Additional experience includes metrics identification, creation, management, root cause analysis, documentation management, Change Control Board (CCB) participation and facilitation, SOP creation, and general process improvements for Systems Engineering and associated processes and tools. *Prefer experience with Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Enterprise Architect, and SysML. *Experience / Education* *Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field. *5+ years of hands-on experience with the above tools usage and administration within an embedded systems product development team. *Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and interact within a team-oriented environment is a must.
