Project Manager with SAP project experience.
*This role will be in Houston - downtown - 75/hr - 6 month plus project* *Only GC, Citizen and EAD GC.* *If they candidate is on your payroll we will consider out of town otherwise they should be local to Houston. * *This position is part of the Project Management group reporting into the Application Development and Support department in Information Technology. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a portfolio of projects in the Information Technology department.* · Provide oversight of a portfolio of projects ($10-15million in value) to ensure successful delivery. · Ensure that project managers are driving and leading project activities to ensure activities are tracked and deliverables are met. · Provide process leadership to the project managers and leads on the projects. · Participate in the project review meetings and provide independent assessment on the projects overall health and status. · Provide leadership in helping the architects and solution leads move a project through the governance process. · Provide broad IT and project knowledge. · Provide leadership on projects that have significant issues and provide active support when needed. · Delivery Assurance Leads will have a very good understanding of the state of the portfolio of projects they are assigned and will be required to deliver high level reports on the portfolio's health. · Support the PMO office in ensuring that projects are being reported on accurately. Experience · Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing medium to large teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders · global rollouts, and experience in leading internationally distributed teams · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Excellent management and team-building skills · Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate between IT requirements and technical design and implementation · Budget planning and management -- Regards *Mayank Sharma* Technical Recruiter Sage Group Consulting Inc.
