Web Administrator - HOT REQ Client: Prudential Location: Newark, NJ (accessible by train)
Rate: $65/hr Duration: 6+ months Phone/Skype; locals preferred Scope of Work: Responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring Web, application servers for a 24/7 environment. Work with application developers, network administrators, security administrators, etc. to coordinate and maintain high usage availability of critical applications. Develop appropriate systems recommendations to meet user needs, including system configurations and installation planning. Additional responsibilities include: • Building of new servers, customize the servers as per the application requirement and Installation, configuration, monitoring and performance tuning • WLST scripts to create and manage Web Logic domains • Performance tuning of JVM Heap size, Garbage collection, java stack, JMS & production performance of Web Logic. • Configuration and administration JDBC Datasources/ Connection Pools/ Multi Pools on Web Logic Server. • Build JMX user monitors and alerts. • Analysis and verification of the new middle tier cluster environment.
