- The Informatica Support Developer is a client facing role that would have
regular interactions with various customers in IT.
- This position would be responsible for monitoring and remediating issues
with Informatica IDR and PowerCenter environments.
- Minor enhancements and upgrading the platforms once a year is a must.

* Responsibilities:*
• Provide guidance and expertise to resolve technical issues in the day to
day activities.
- Monitor and correct failures, document and communicate issues and analyze
patterns of failures and implement solutions.
- Should have strong SQL writing & performance tuning skills.
- Suggest standards and implement Informatica best practices to manage and
support highly available and distributed ETL environment
• Basic Unix/Linux shell script maintenance and hands-on experience of
OS-command usage.
- Good understanding of configuring and using Informatica PowerCenter and
IDR environment using recognized best practices.
- Global promotions will be done daily.
• Interact with TeraData, SAP Business Warehouse, Oracle or any other
database supported by client.
- Assist in resolving technical issues such as connectivity between
servers, security methods used between servers for authentication and
authorization.
- Assist with yearly upgrade activities and provide minor enhancements.

*Required Skills:*
• BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology or related
Certification
• 1+ years of experience in Informatica support role.
• 3+ years of Project development and delivery.
• Ability to apply new skills / additional information acquired in relation
to role
• Ability to interact with Solution Architects and Business Analyst.
• Ability to prioritize own activities, work under hard deadlines • Team
player with commitment to achieve team goals
• Motivated, flexible and with a can do approach
• Eager to learn and develop proficiency
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Delivery and results focused.
