*Interview mode: Phone than F2FJob Description: *•Possesses detailed knowledge of software design and attendant programs. •Possesses knowledge of system and database management concepts. •Is expert in one or more programming languages such as C++ or COBOL. •Provides advanced programming services for a variety of specific systems and business applications. •Participates at all levels in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenance. •Analyzes coding problems and develops improvements to procedures. •Exercises independent judgment. May supervise subordinate programming staff. Eight years of experience is desired. •This person will be part of a performance engineering team, working with other Subject Matter Expert with focus on maintaining the PE environments which includes WAS and MQ and performing performance tests. •Monitor and make configuration changes using the WAS Admin console. •Monitor MQ and create and maintain queues. •Monitor Operating Systems, Application servers, Databases and Messaging Systems. •Tasks will include design review, code review, performance analysis, performance test, load/stress test. •Deploying / installing J2EE applications on multiple platforms(WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS, Intel ESG, SOLR). •The PE Engineer will write and maintain tools in JAVA and J2EE (coding experience) to analyze and identify the inefficiencies in the application. •Create, review, update and execute LoadRunner scripts.
