Duration:- 6 Month ================================= *JOB DESCRIPTION: * This person should be comfortable working on a wide variety of systems, both old and new. A desire and ability to understand and work with unfamiliar data structures is an asset. The ideal candidate will be a person who has had experience using Informatica Lifecycle Management (ILM) as a tool for archiving databases. He or she will: • Know how to analyze the structure of a source database, construct the target database in the archive and transfer the data from the source database to the archive database. • Know how to test that the data has been archived correctly. • Know how to create and apply retention policies and legal holds to data in the archive. • Know which tools to use for each part of the archiving process and how to get the best performance out of these tools. • Know how to use data masking to hide sensitive data. *TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * A comprehensive knowledge of RDBMS is fundamental to the job. Knowledge of multiple database systems is important including: • SQL Server • Oracle, • DB2. *KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER DATA SOURCES IS USEFUL ESPECIALLY DATA STORED ON * • Mainframe. • AS400 • VMS *KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING SYSTEMS WILL BE USEFUL: * • Essbase • SAP • Teradata • JD Edwards • Siebel. *RELEVANT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: * 4-6 Years *MUST HAVE TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge and hands on experience of Informatica ILM A comprehensive knowledge of RDBMS is fundamental to the job.
