*Java DeveloperLocation: Minneapolis, MN or Omaha, Nebraska* *Duration: 6+(USC or GC)* *Interview mode: Phone or Skype* *Position Mandates: * * Position requires strong application development (JAVA programming) experience. * Ability to work independently throughout the system development life cycle. * Demonstrated development expertise in the following technologies: JAVA, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, SQL, Web Services, Subversion. * * Candidate will be required to assist in transforming legacy UDS/ Fort 4GL code into JAVA. * *Key Responsibilities * Write efficient well maintained code that follows company and industry standards. Participate in the testing process through test review and support. Actively participate with the customer to gather requirements and assist with design docs. Expected to maintain at least two high profile projects and multiple complicated tasks simultaneously. Troubleshoot system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve applications. Expected to conduct code reviews. Capable of evaluating software and third party tools to determine value. *Required Qualifications * * Minimum 5 years application development experience in programming role * * Strong knowledge of SDLC * * Demonstrated experience in the following technologies: JAVA, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, SQL, Web Services, Subversion. * Willingness to transform legacy UDS/ Fort 4GL code into JAVA.
