Design Modify and author new SSRS reports and SSAS cubes · Strong RDBMS knowledge and concept of Schema, Objects, relations and constraints. · Experience in report writing · VB and VBA coding · Excellent customer service and organization skills · Able to guide a team in implementing the solutions. *GOOD-TO-HAVE:* · Multiple BI tools experience · Java Background ============================================== *JOB POSITION: Microsoft Sharepoint/Business Intelligence Architect* *Location: Cincinnati, OH* *Duration: Full Time* *MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS:* • Provide direction for the analysis, installation and support of patches, upgrades and performance enhancements for the SharePoint infrastructure. • Design large scale high-performance systems BI user interface within SharePoint. • Design and build BI solutions to support business data evaluation and decision making. • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, unit testing, and documentation of applications based on Microsoft SharePoint within a business setting. • Work with Data Warehouse architects/developers to ensure appropriate data is available to support BI reporting needs. • Ensure consistent use of information architecture standards. • Champion governance and usage guidelines for all SharePoint environments and support processes related to those initiatives • Design, Develop and maintain reports using Power Pivot, Power View, SSRS reports SSAS cubes , Performance Point and if required custom SharePoint web parts/apps in .NET • Translate user requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plan. • Work closely with customer's development team and infrastructure group to analyze, develop and implement appropriate integrations between SharePoint and other platforms. • As SharePoint Business Intelligence Architect, you must be able to bring crucial analytics to business solutions and organizations. • Serve as Subject Matter Expert in SharePoint BI tool development concepts. • Establish controls to ensure BI tools are presenting accurate and timely information. • Create and use models of existing and new architecture (Conceptual, logical and physical architecture for SharePoint and SharePoint integrations). • Champion governance and usage guidelines for all SharePoint environments and support processes related to those initiatives *DESIRABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS:* Microsoft Certified in SharePoint/ SQL Server BI Experience designing and implementing dimensional star and snowflake models, data marts, and/or data warehouses (a big plus). Experience with SharePoint BI *MANDATORY FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:* Analytical and problem solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills,. Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills *Desirable Functional Skills:* Familiarity with project management and systems development life cycle processes, tools, concepts and methodologies is plus.
