*POSITION*
*Business Analyst with Retirement Plan experience **Client: Prudential*
*Rate: $75/hr*
*Location: Hartford, CT (LOCALS ONLY)*
*F2F will be required after positive phone interview*
*EAD, GC or USC only*
*Responsibilities/Required Experience:*
In order to support our requirements development practice, we are seeking
qualified business process analyst consultant resources with proven
business experience producing business requirements deliverables for
projects in the Retirement Services industry. Business Process Analysts
will be responsible for supporting the business request assessment and
business requirement development processes.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who understands the Retirement
Services industry and has experience participating in project team efforts
as either a leader or project team member. Knowledge of Retirement
Services-specific products, services, record keeping and operational
functions are a must. Candidates should be comfortable with facilitating
group discussions and work sessions to produce specific work products in
controlled time frames and with multiple stakeholders. Collaboration,
negotiation and planning skills are a must for any candidate. Previous
work experience and/or consulting engagements with Prudential is preferred.
*Required Experience:*
- *Record Keeping Business unit experience within the Retirement
Services industry (employer sponsored retirement plans such as 401k, 403b
and 457 products) is a must. *
*Note: Experience in other financial services businesses such as Insurance,
Annuities, Individual Investment products etc. are not acceptable
substitutes Note: Candidates must have Business unit experience,
meaning they actively worked within and supported traditional Retirement
Services business functions vs. IT or Technology groups*
- Strong written & verbal communication skills – ability to navigate
multiple levels of the organization
- Experience (preferably through prior roles) with key Business
functions such as Operations, Call Center, Relationship Management and
Product Management are a must.
- Deep understanding of how business systems support the Retirement
Services customer lifecycle (Record Keeping platforms, Imaging & Workflow
tools, Participant, Plan Sponsor and Intermediary web functions)
- Experience facilitating working sessions with representatives from
multiple areas of an organization
- Experience participating in and/or leading project efforts
- Experience planning work efforts and preparing project documents
* Responsibilities:*
- Prepare Business Requirements using a consistent, repeatable process &
tool set that align with industry recognized standards
- Review & assess Business area requests for completeness, quality &
client impact
- Support prioritization and demand management activities for
Initiative, Enhancement & Production Support requests
- Provide “thought management” guidance to business units in the early
stages of the project life cycle
- Provide objective input to Business Case development
