*BI Business Analyst* Location: Chesterbrooke PA ---not far from Philadelphia. Duration: 6-12 Months *PHONE INTERVIEWS ONLY. Can be non-local candidates.* The consultant must have been exposed to: · SAP · SAP BW · SAP BO I would say 4-5 years experience with 2-3 years in BI environments. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Consult with internal customers (e.g. marketing, sales, customer service, operations) to define and deliver projects that lead to actionable insights · Acquisition and manipulation of data from multiple sources to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making · Ability to work with a variety of Business Intelligence tools to design and deliver reporting capabilities (e.g. traditional reports, visualization and dashboards, basic analytics, etc.) · Accountable for the development, implementation, evaluation and on-going management of new and existing BI services and products · Participates in the implementation and enhancement of the enterprise data dictionary which is used to define data attributes, business terms, business rules, and lineage. · Participate in the definition of service roadmaps with input from the Relationship Managers, Enterprise Architecture and other supporting teams · Collaborate with other IT teams to plan for capacity, availability and performance requirements for new project requests · Involved in all SDLC aspects of Business Intelligence projects; including developing of requirements, product configuration, validation, and production support. · Continuous improvement and innovation of the assigned services and products EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: · Expertise in Business Intelligence capabilities and related services are strongly desired · Subject matter expertise in both the business and technology · Experience working in a matrix environment · BS Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred · Progressive experience with over 5+ years in a business facing (front office) IT environment MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: · Able to anticipate customer needs and expectations · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which includes strong presentation skills · Able to influence associates outside of your local organizational structure · Advanced interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain relationships and navigate formal and informal networks to create results · Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities at all levels of management · Advanced ability to adapt to change, handle pressure, and adjust plans to meet changing needs, and solve problems creatively · Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate issues and apply knowledge to identify and implement appropriate solutions · Strong ability to prioritize work load, consistently meet deadlines, and escalate concerns as appropriate · Able to travel a minimum of 25% -- *Thanks,* Nicole Xie *Office: (908) 429-8008 x315* *Cell: (908) 256-2714 * *Email: [email protected]* www.cyberThink.com/staffing <http://www.cyberthink.com/staffing> Click here to view current job openings. <http://www.maxhire.net/cp/?E95E6C361D43515B7E511F29> [image: Description: Description: Description: cid:[email protected]] *Connecting with the best and brightest is our goal, please ask about our referral bonus policy.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
