*Interview mode: Phone than F2F.Job Description:*This 6 month contract position will be responsible for the design and development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) data sourcing ETL activities related to the current projects. This position will be involved in all aspects of programming, data preparation, cleanup and conversion, testing and quality monitoring, troubleshooting, implementation and documentation. *Skills:* •Experience with ETL programming and customer support, database data matching, cleaning and load operations, and/ or database analysis and reporting. *•3 years + experience in Design, development, and implementation of complex SSIS packages on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or higher in data warehouse/data mart environments.* •Strong Transact-SQL (T-SQL) query and stored procedure development •Expert in load design strategies and ETL optimization techniques •SQL Server Analysis Services (multi-dimensional cube) and MDX development experience •Data modeling experience – using Erwin or Power Designer helpful. •Demonstrated organizational, analytical, research and problem-solving skills. *Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities as well as possess decision making and negotiating skills.* •Excellent written and oral communication skills •Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to work in a team environment with strong interdependent partnering skills striving to create and maintain a positive relationship with all customers. *Responsibilities:* *•Design, develop and maintain ETL architectures•Design, develop and maintain reusable ETL code assets* •Ensure alignment of ETL architecture and design and development activities with overall EDW direction •Data analysis on potential source systems including data profiling •Create/modify source system to EDW mappings including required transformations and data quality criteria and processing •Report on status and results to project manager and team leads at needed time frames. •Attend weekly status meetings with IS or project team personnel. •Create and maintain programming documentation, including: documents to describe program development, logic, coding and/corrections, flowcharts and diagrams, user instructions •Create and manage testing-related components of systems implementation project plans, including: task identification; work estimation; and, resource assignments.
