Duration:- 6 Month ================================ *DESCRIPTION* seeking an experienced Web Engineer responsible for front-end development on the website. List public facing websites. The Web Engineer will need in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and jQuery and the best practices for implementing performant and responsive desktop and mobile websites. *WHAT YOU WILL DO:* • Develop desktop and mobile responsive web pages serving dynamic and rich e-commerce content using well-known web technologies and frameworks. • Test and optimize performance of new and existing web pages. Understand the applicability of CDNs to optimize performance. • Work with a team of other engineers, designers, QA and software architects. • Participate in, and perform code-reviews. *WHAT YOU WILL NEED:* • BA/BS in Web Design and Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency. • 5+ years experience in front-end web development with strong knowledge of hand-coding JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS. • 3+ years experience with responsive mobile/desktop web development and best practices • Applicants must have experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS • Applicant must understand object oriented programming and software design patterns. • Must understand website performance optimization techniques, tools and architecture including CDN usage. • Experience with cross-browser testing and debugging on desktop and mobile devices. • Experience with AJAX and REST APIs. • Experience working with SQL and relational databases a plus. • Experience with Android or iOS a plus. • Experience with GIT software version control • Experience working in Agile, Scrum based projects. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of web design and user experience fundamentals. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, client facing consulting skills, analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight. =================================================== *Job Position:- Linux Admin* Location: Reston, VA Duration: Long Term ========================================== *Interview:- first phone interview, then candidate must complete a test assessment, then they must attend in-person interview in VA (if they cannot do all three, please don't submit)* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* linux, storage, vmware, java, c, open source deployment tools, scripting (perl, python and/or bash) • Looking for someone with Linux and Application administration experience. • They should have experience in installing, managing , troubleshooting , and monitoring the Linux operating system. • They should also have similar experience with applications, including troubleshooting, scaling, installing, tuning , and upgrading applications. • The application experience we typically see and expect is java based, but also have C applications. *==================================================* *In case you are not looking for the change at this point of time please refer your colleagues, Friends etc.* *Regards* *Deepak* *United Software Group Inc.* 565 Metro Place S.
