*Interview mode: Phone than F2F.Job Description:*Responsible for
*installs/upgrades
of SAS*, coordinate outages with the customer, coordinate patching with
server team, perform restarts, assist with job restarts, and have a list of
month end activities in the event an issue comes up with end of month jobs.

This is supporting a 24x7 environment.
Weekends on call but generally users are not on the system during the
weekend—but candidates need to be ok with this possibility.

*The SAS Administrator’s key responsibilities:*
Ø Adding, modifying and deleting *SAS users and user privilege*
Ø Registering data sources in metadata
Ø Managing software license, *both client and server, installation and
compliance *
Ø Tracking, evaluating, testing and deploying patches and hotfixes
Ø Responding to and resolve user reported incidents
Ø Monitoring server and system health, notifying other support teams as
necessary to maintain system availability
Ø Adding, removing and monitoring jobs on the job scheduler
Ø Escalating issues to SAS Support and work with SAS to resolve internal
incidents
Ø Participating in infrastructure projects to improve the SAS EBI
environment as the SAS expert
Ø Participating in other business intelligence and IT projects that affect
the SAS environment as the SAS expert
Ø Documenting system and process changes
Ø Making recommendations to user community and management for improvement
Ø Install and configure 9.4*.*
