Will also support the integration of new acquisitions and assist in defining performance standards as necessary. Will also provide long term planning for all aspects of the Enterprise Storage environment including Storage, SAN, backup and replication. Primary Responsibilities: • Designing and implementing storage/ backup system configurations and creating standards for Open Systems platforms at an expert level in a diverse, demanding environment. • Act as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of Enterprise Storage technologies. • Develop and Document best practices for installation of storage systems. • Provide 3rd Level support to incidents as needed 24x7x365. • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and excellent problem solving skills under pressure. • Work on cross-functional teams to integrate new services, solutions, and environments into existing data center infrastructure. • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Partners with business customers to provide value-add solutions and enhancements to their processes, projects and services. • Supports enterprise-wide compliance with standards, processes and policies. *Basic Qualifications: * • Minimum 8 years of IT experience • Minimum 5 years of technical experience with Storage Infrastructure including Backups. • Must have expert level experience with at least 3 of the following technologies: EMC Symmetrix, EMC Centera, EMC Isilon, Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP/G1000), NetApp, Cisco UCS, Cisco MDS SAN Directors, Brocade SAN Directors, CommVault Simpana Product Suite, , EMC Data Domain • Excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills • Organized and detailed documentation skills *Preferred Qualifications: * • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems/MIS or Science • Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: IBM AIX, Linux, Microsoft Windows 2003+, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL 2005+, Oracle, IP Networking, Firewalls. • 4 Years experience in IT Development or Project Management • 4 Years experience in Vendor Management , Contracting, or Procurement • A work ethic with a focus on quality, results and customer satisfaction *Thanks and Regards,* *Shilpi Bist || Technical Recruiter* <http://www.sageci.com/> email: [email protected] Phone: 732-851-1596/ 732-767-0010 Ext: 542 Gtalk: shilpi.recruiter1|| Yahoo: shilpi.recruiter <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shilpi-bist/82/944/7a7/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
