Experience working with high volume transactions is desired. • Experience with Vertica and Teradata environments and its tool set is desirable • Experience developing and implementing best practices in ETL specifics to process control, exception management in an EDW environment. • Experience working with Web Logs is a plus • Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work across functional lines, and at many levels. • Ability to work on assigned tasks independently and execute with minimal direction. • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet project deadlines, and work under tight timelines. Technical Skills: • Informatica • Teradata (or any databases like oracle/Vertica/sqlserver) • Unix scripting • Automation tool (tidal/autosys/control M etc) • Having "Java plugin for Informatica" experience would be highly desirable since that would encompass SOAP, • Java/web services, and XML experience.
