*Interview mode: Phone than F2F.Job Description:*The individual in this position will work on the design, development and implementation of web-based application that addresses challenges associated with enforcement and monitoring of certain compliance policies at Partners Healthcare. This position involves working very closely with business owners and analysts to define and document multiple use cases and workflows. Candidate must be able to use web technologies and successfully apply them to development of web applications. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Indicate key areas of responsibility, major job duties, special projects and key objectives for this position. These items should be evaluated throughout the year and included in the written annual evaluation. Designs, codes, tests and debugs the software necessary to maintain the system. Interacts with analysts and end-users to understand complex business requirements. Writes technical design documents and implementation documentation. Develops and reports project plan, specifications, schedules, technical parameters to management. *Qualifications (MUST be realistic, neither overstated nor understated, and related to the essential function of the job).Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of progressive work experience in information technology with 3+ years developing web applications.* *Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required* (MUST be realistic, neither overstated nor understated, and related to the essential function of the job). •Understanding of distributed web application development concepts and object-oriented programming. *•Knowledge of ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, MVC, C#, HTML/JavaScript/Ajax.•Experience with relational database design and development using MS SQL Server technology.•Knowledge of SOAP web services.* •Proficiency with developing reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services is desired. •Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and SharePoint is desired. •Exposure to systems analysis, application design and testing.
