The candidate will also drive the development of reporting solutions to support operations for the Procurement organization and for non-Procurement business organizations that requires procurement data within Genentech and Roche. The reporting solutions developed by this candidate should provide efficient and effective access to information allowing users to do data analysis. · The ideal candidate has strong understanding of SAP BW and BO reporting, SAP R/3 MM, SRM, CLM and FI modules, procurement processes and databases with technical knowledge and experience applying those skills to business applications. Experience working with ARIBA is a plus. The candidate will propose and implement adequate technical solutions to business requirements, and should have experience with Global Implementations working with multiple SAP instances worldwide. This is a techno-functional position. · Candidate should have strong analytical skills, should be able to understand the data and be able to troubleshoot data issues. · Strong candidates should be extremely proactive, motivated, organized, and should work well within a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst may work independently or as part of a project team and need to be able to coordinate work activities of other team members as needed. *Responsibilities: * · Support the successful implementation of global reporting solutions by providing business process analysis and design, strategic vision, best practices, detailed requirements definition and system assessments · Develop and perform testing scripts and data validation of new reports using Mercury Interactive Quality tools or similar tools and facilitate and plan user acceptance process. · Define system and user acceptance test procedures and test scripts. Participate in quality assurance reviews and quality control monitoring efforts · Meet with users and define business requirements and develop necessary functional specifications. · Develop training material and training plans. · Troubleshoot issues and conducts research on identified key business issues. · Provide business perspective and expertise to support technology initiatives. · Apply analytical and technical skills to automate manual processes. · Analyze processes, and assist in identifying key business issues and opportunities for improvements. · Supports the design and analysis of new business processes. Apply support analysis for deployed technologies. *Job Requirements * · 8+ years business systems analysis and support experience working with end users. · Should have the capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and translate them into technical solutions. · 8+ years’ experience with database development and various reporting tools and data analysis application. · Candidate should have working experience with BW BEx Analyzer (versions 3.5 and 7.x), WEB Application Designer and InfoSet Query and BO. · Ability to work with front-end BW components like Queries, Calculated key figures, Restricted Key figures, Filters, Variables, Conditions, Exceptions, Drilldown and Web Reporting . · 8+ years working experience with Infoobjects, Infocubes, ODS Objects, Multiproviders, Info sources, Infopackages and Transfer/Update rules. · 8+ years working experience with SAP R/3 MM module, FI module. · Working experience with ARIBA, SAP CLM (contract lifecycle management), Coupa and SRM is a plus · Experience performing data validation and UAT procedures, including development of testing scripts. · Experience developing dashboards using Business Objects Xcelsius tool is a plus · Strong Analytical and problem solving skills · Must be able to independently handle complex problems.
