You will participate in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Working within an Agile environment, you will actively participate in story planning and detailed daily stand-ups, while providing input for architectural design decisions, and developing code to meet story acceptance criteria. You will have the opportunity to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills on multiple platforms, and educate team members (including BSAs, Scrum Masters and Product Owners) on the capabilities and constraints of technologies. You will be an integral part in advancing the culture of technical excellence within Capital One, and creating experiences to delight millions of customers! *Responsibilities: * • Assists in developing, testing, implementation and support of application systems. • Partners with development teams through the project life cycle, including writing and developing code within projects. • Accountable for designing and developing stable, scalable and maintainable systems and solutions, interfacing new systems with legacy systems and integration of new and existing systems with other business lines. • Participates in technical design, development and implementation of application systems. • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. • Develops detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple programs. • Prepares documentation of all procedures used in system • Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary. • Reviews requirements, design and implementation plans and is accountable for ensuring that design and development is aligned with standards. • Provides oversight during implementations into production and monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
