Contract: Security PM Location :Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 Months Client is seeking to fill a position for a Security Project Manager. Please submit your candidate as soon as possible. Below are the requirements for the position: *Summary* The Security Project Manager will run an ongoing set of security-related implementation projects. These could be security tools, packages, appliances, and/or processes. The PM will be expected to oversee approximately 2-3 small to medium projects simultaneously with distinct project teams. The PM will function within a large program, reporting to the Program Manager, and is expected to have complete financial and end-to-end project ownership over their projects. As this is an ongoing program, the PM would be expected to pick up new projects as they implement and close projects. The candidate should have the flexibility to move from appliance install projects to a security software upgrade or a data protection project (for example). The PM will be managing project teams with outsourced vendor PMs and project resources and must adapt to the methodology and processes of the environment. *Key Roles & Responsibilities** Directly or through others, the incumbent will: * · Manage the scope, schedule, budget, resources, and successful delivery of a number of security-related implementation projects · Manage projects using client PMO methodology and processes · Work with the Security Program Manager and key sponsors to ensure project delivery is aligned with strategic direction · Guide the project through the SDLC processes · Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, project team members, and vendors · Clearly communicate status and risks to program leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders · Manage risks as directed by the Security sponsor and the PMO · Work with the appropriate outsourced vendors in alignment with the respective MSAs, operating protocols, and program methodology · Proactively identify and communicate project risks and challenges; work with appropriate stakeholders and program leadership to manage to resolution · Effectively implement solutions using the change management processes and implementation methodology · Create and manage communication plans for all project efforts · Create and manage OCM plans for appropriate projects to ensure successful user adoption of the security project * Experience, & Skill Requirements* · Education – Bachelor’s degree · Experience – 7 plus years managing projects or similar delivery efforts in Information Technology · Experience – 5 plus years working in IT Security/Compliance related areas · Skill – Team leadership, presentation skills, upward communication · Skill – Strong teaming and interpersonal skills, vendor management, ITIL processes, financial management, requirements-driven design process · Skill – MS Project, Word, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel *Measures of Success* · Consistent on schedule, on budget project delivery · Measureable process adherence · Ability to manage resources and scope for all assigned project delivery efforts -- *Thanks,* Nicole Xie *Office: (908) 429-8008 x353* *Cell: (908) 256-2714 * *Email: [email protected]* www.cyberThink.com/staffing <http://www.cyberthink.com/staffing> Click here to view current job openings. <http://www.maxhire.net/cp/?E95E6C361D43515B7E511F29> [image: Description: Description: Description: cid:[email protected]] *Connecting with the best and brightest is our goal, please ask about our referral bonus policy.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
