*Duration :6+months* *Minimum Requirements:* - High level of proficiency and experience with installation, upgrades, configuration and administration of the InfoSphere 8.7 product suite across server and client tiers for multiple environments. - Required skills in addition to the above accountabilities include a strong detail orientation, multi-tasking abilities, customer service orientation, troubleshooting/problem solving skills and ability to make sound judgement calls and decisions under pressure. - Linux experience strongly preferred. *Desired* Control-M, Oracle, DB2, SAP experience desired. *Working remotely is a consideration - - only after being onsite until proving bher/himself.* Applying fixes, patches and service packs. - Deploying packages. - Configuring DataStage objects including environment variables, data sets, message handlers and configuration files. - Gathering and analyzing operational metadata. - Performing systems monitoring. - Analyzing and optimizing system performance and capacity. - Providing technical expertise, direction, troubleshooting and debugging support for ETL developers. - Serving as a primary IBM liaison for reporting, tracking and managing problems with the InfoSphere product suite. - Defining/implementing procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations. - Developing and maintaining scripts for automation of administration functions. - 24X7 on call availability.
