*Position: QA Engineer* *Duration: 12 Months*
*Location: San Carlos, CA* *Roles and Responsibilities* · Review business, functional Requirements and technical specifications to create test plans · Writing automated test plans and test cases in Java or Python, and UI testing frameworks such as Selenium etc. · Identify, report defects and assist dev team on analysis of defects and track them to successful resolution · Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle · Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding · Work closely with the developers to achieve a high level of code coverage · Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation · Conduct the research on emerging technologies - Train and mentor other QA engineers * Desired Skills and Experience * · 5+ years proven record developing comprehensive QA automation tests using Java · Experience working with HTML, JavaScript, Java and scripting such as Python/Perl/PHP/Ruby · Experience with UI and load Test Automation frameworks (Selenium, Grinder) · Experience developing test plans and executing against these plans across functional, regression, unit, system, performance, stress, and load testing · Solid understanding of SQL and experience doing data quality testing with large data sets · Very comfortable working in Unix command line and testing under Linux · Excellent troubleshooting skills, and ability to communicate detailed technical analysis · Ability to champion QA processes throughout the engineering organization · SCRUM / Agile development practices · BS in Computer Science, or equivalent · Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor (enjoy the journey) · Experience testing display advertising or behavioral targeting solutions with large data sets is a plus - Experience with NoSQL technologies (Redis, Hadoop, Hive, HBase) is a plusExperience in both small and large matrix organizations is a plus *Thanks & Regards,* * Koushik Ram* * Infovision 21, Inc* * 6077 Frantz Road Ste. 105, Dublin, Ohio - 43017. * * PH : (614) 923 4862* * Direct : (234) 525 0286 Fax : (614) 761 7788 Email : [email protected] <[email protected]> * * URL : www.infovision21.com <http://www.infovision21.com/>* *ISO 9001, 27001 Registered, MBE/EDGE Certified Ohio, GSA, Ohio STS Contract Holder.* This message is intended only for the individual or entity to which it is addressed.
