*Position:- Senior C++ developer* *Duration:- 6-12 months (option to extend)* *Location:- Chicago, IL* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Job Duties: *As a part of our clearing team, build and maintain robust and high throughput C++ applications on Linux platform. Enhance, maintain, and support cutting-edge applications in production environment. Specific responsibilities include: - Work with business to drive and understand requirements - Analyze requirements and propose solutions/prototypes - Architect/Design solutions - Build robust, flexible, multi-threaded, high-throughput, object-oriented, client/server systems, using C++, Sybase, and SQL - Unit test code, and work with business users on UAT - Deploy systems to production - Support production environment. Analyze production issues on priority and implement fixes. - Maintain proficiency in required technical skills *Requirements:* Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 7 years of experience in the job offered or progressive experience in software development.
