*Job Title:* UI Web Developer *Location:* Tampa, FL 6 months Phone and F2F Local candidate *Overview:* Responsible for designing, developing and implementing core and web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and other investigative procedures. *Responsibilities:* 1. Collaborates with business partners and development team members to achieve business results. Analyzes business requirements and provides feedback to business on development projects. 2. Builds Java programs, batch jobs, and related web interfaces that are consistent with the objective of stated development and business goals. 3. Works continually on improving performance of source code using industry standard methodologies. Provides support for investigating and debugging production issues. 4. Recommends new development strategies and procedure improvements to the development team. 5. Performs unit testing to ensure programs meet stated business objectives prior to supplying to Software Quality Assurance Team. Ensures projects are completed in a timely manner, consistently achieving project deadlines. 6. Mentors, supports and offers guidance to other application development staff. 7. Participate in the establishment of group standards and processes. Helps drive technology direction and choices of technologies by making recommendations based on experience and research. 8.
