Location- Schaumburg, IL ==================================== *JOB DESCRIPTIONS:* · Experience in migrating applications to AWS · Hands on experience in AWS provisioning · Application deployment and data migration on AWS · Experience planning and executing data-center consolidations, elocations, and migrations · Ability to perform infrastructure discovery and assessments working with Architecture team · Demonstrated understanding of Data Center Operations (Production operations, Server, Storage, Network, Data Base Management, Systems Management, Helpdesk, DR/Business recovery practices) · Hands on experience in Enterprise VPN and Amazon VPC integration with data center · AWS Trouble shooting · Experience in Virtualization · Prior experience in developing Cloud Formation Scripts for AWS Orchestration · Linux and Windows administration · Knowledge of monitoring, logging and cost management tools that integrate with AWS · Hands on experience designing and building new data centers *RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Assist in migrating applications from customer on-premises datacenter to the cloud (AWS) · Define a migration strategy for an application by understanding the application architecture in working with the development team · Analyzing application portfolios, identifying dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assessing migration feasibility · Architecting hybrid AWS and on-premise solutions for technology clusters and patterns. · Establishing shared IT service centers for Cloud operations. · Cost/Benefit modeling and creating compelling business cases for migration. · Generating AWS migration roadmaps and driving buy-in across complex organization structures. · Collaborating with consulting and managed services partners to build and execute migration plans. · Getting feedback from common Enterprise requirements into AWS service development teams.
