*Job Description*
- Develop module/unit/"white box" tests of firmware or software code
- Develop functional tests for embedded real-time firmware
- Develop functional tests for software running under a disk-based
operating system
*Responsibilities:*
- Develop and maintain requirements-based tests to verify implantable
cardiac medical device embedded software.
- Generate test cases based on requirements (or usage scenarios) and
develop C-based automated tests scripts utilizing function libraries
targeted for a custom test environment.
- Execute tests on target platform and analyze/debug test results.
- Maintain formal requirement test case to test script trace
documentation.
- Conduct reviews of peers test cases and scripts.
- All activities executed under formal design controls using Subversion
for configuration management and Polarion for issue and work item tracking.
*Other Skills Sets Needed Include:*
- Required experience includes: C/C++ language programming.
- Preferred experience includes:
- a working knowledge of Eclipse-based IDE (Integrated Development
Environment)
- working knowledge of Linux
- cardiac medical device development or verification experience
