Position : Sr Java Developer Location : Southboro, MA Duration : 6+ Months This Sr. Application Developer will be primarily responsible for enhancing the functionality of a Java based mission-critical application. There will be the need for collaborating with a small team of Developers, QA, and DBAs, for all tiers of the application and all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities : • Be part of a team that is responsible for designing, extending, developing and deploying a mission-critical enterprise-wide application. • Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (analysis, design, coding, testing). • Enhance existent application to meet additional business and security requirements. This includes development in the various tiers (Communications, Business Layer, DAL, etc.) of an enterprise application • Coordinate with QA team on the development and use of Test Plans (Scripts). • Work with project resources to create and maintain Functional and Technical Design documentation. *Technical Skills* • 5+ years of Java development experience; including experience with multi-threading and network classes • 3+ years of experience with defining and implementing REST or SOAP web services • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts (i.e. indexes, constraints, normalization, data access) • 3+ years of experience in Message and event Queuing (i.e. RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or Apache Kfaka) • 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (i.e. Redis, MongoDB or Cassandra) • 3+ years of experience developing and testing micro-services • 3+ years of experience developing modules for Apache HTTP server • 3+ years of experience in Linux Shell Script and Windows Batch scripts *General Skills* • Team player who can multitask as well as work independently • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to understand business requirements -- *Thanks and regards* *Ram* D : (214) 501 9890 www.globusitinc.com 1231 Greenway Dr Suite 230 ||Irving, TX- 75038. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
