*Job Title: Dynamics AX Consultant *
*Duration: 6 Months *

*Description: *The Retail Services IT (RSIT) Operation team is looking for
a Senior Service engineering who is talented and highly passionate for
technology. The role will participate in developing, configuring, and
supporting Retail Dynamics AX 2012 and dependent services. The role is
expected to be subject matter expert to deliver a complex implementation of
Dynamics while providing best practices implementation to business
partners, project teams, and solution delivery teams. You will be asked to
apply advanced analysis skills, systems knowledge, and development skills
to define appropriate solutions and estimates for the AX 2012
implementation for Retail Enterprise Services. You are instrumental in
making sure the right technology and configurations are selected to meet
the functional requirements from the business while maintaining all
security compliance and scalability of Retail business. The ideal candidate
will have intimate knowledge of Dynamics AX modules and processes with
strong analytical and problem solving skills. Candidate must also have
demonstrated great leadership and result driven approach in all ERP
implementation related endeavors. The role requires an individual who can
excel in resolving ambiguity, self-motivated, and has demonstrated skills
in crisis management and expectation management.

*Skills and Qualifications: *

   - Ability to identify operational best practices and effectively
   communicate the recommendation to all levels of the organization
   - Expert and have deep knowledge with AX 2009 and AX 2012 with great
   understanding of ERP business processes
   - Leads development efforts to translate requirements into supportable
   and scalable solutions
   - Analytical approach to solve and support complex applications in a
   complex, large-scale, and multi datacenter environments
   - Knowledge of retail business and merchandising process is a plus
   - Able to lead the planning and design of service-deliver solution that
   delivers tools, processes, dependencies, and documentation toward
   supportable and scalable services
   - Ability to distill and communicate technical design solutions based on
   disparate business requirements
   - Articulate and outstanding skills in documenting application
   deployment, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and support KBs
   - Experienced with and implemented Dynamics AX at an enterprise business
   level with expert level SQL skills
   - 7+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting the availability
   of applications, systems, networks, and servers for high availability
   enterprise systems

*Ideal candidate: *

   - A BS/MS in Information Systems Management or related field with 7+
   years of experience supporting multiple enterprise level applications.
   - Experience in retail technology like Point-of-Sale (POS)
   - Outstanding team player who is willing to collaborate and share
   information to improve the team toward providing outstanding customer
   support
   - Has leadership skills and leadership experience
   - Passion for operational excellence and to always strive to improve
   process and tooling
   - Deals well with ambiguity and can influence without authority
   - Experience with supporting and building an enterprise level
   application including developing processes to sustain the services 24x7
   - Outstanding customer services with strong communication skills, sound
   judgment, negotiating, and decision making skills
   - Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify
   issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
