Feel free to reach me on 770 255-7665. *Title*: Test Architect *Location*: Chicago, IL, United States *Duration*: 12+ months Contract *Job Description * · Translates user requirements into well designed development-level automated tests. · Provides automated testing of user requirements of complex software applications supporting identity and access management solutions. Responsibilities includes functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. · Experience in agile methodology, defect life-cycle, test automation and continuous integration. · Design and implement test scripts/functions using automation tools / frameworks. · Work on automation framework modification/maintenance and integrating new features. Responsible for maintaining, setting-up and configuring software test environments and labs. · Provides daily test status and defect summary by using a formal bug tracking system and interface with the development team to help resolve bugs/issues. · Develops test cases, test plans, test and defect report, and other documentation as required. · Creation and maintenance of unit, component and automated testing that is integrated into and reported from the build cycle. · Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including architecture, design, implementation and documentation, ensuring support of automated test and alignment to strategic goals. *Qualifications * • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years’ experience with both structured and exploratory testing methodologies or software development java scripting / development experience. • Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying automated tests to ensure quality standards are met. • Extensive background in developing automated test suites. • Experience writing automated test scripts in Cucumber in Ruby and experience in the following tools: Selenium, Chef, Jenkins • Good understand of authentication and access control methods, protocols, and solutions desirable.
