Tibco BusinessWorks ESB/DataPower + Java Services Developer Summary
My Client is seeking a talented software developer to assist in the design and implementation of the next generation of applications to provision, manage, deliver, and bill services to our subscribers. We need an experienced Java J2EE developer with IBM Tibco BusinessWorks experience to take an active role in delivering services, which meet functional requirements, within the Telecom domain for internal and external customers. Minimum Qualifications • 4+ years of experience on developing enterprise applications using Tibco BusinessWorks software suite (preferably Tibco BusinessWorks 5.XX /DataPower-XS40, XI50) • 1+ years experience orchestrating business flows using Tibco BusinessWorks • 1+ years of experience mapping data to unified data models • 2+ years of experience (4+ preferred) designing SOA architectures • 2+ years of recent experience with the Java programming language • 2+ years of experience with SQL, extensive knowledge of Transaction Scope, Stored Procedures and Triggers is preferred. • Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) knowledge, including experience implementing common design patterns in real-world systems • Excellent understanding of SOA and EAI patterns, and architectural principles. • Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational skills, proven experience working in a collaborative team environment • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver requirements on a regular, recurring schedule Strongly Desired • Experience configuring IBM DataPower to expose enterprise services • Experience mapping data to Enterprise Data model using Contivo • Experience with XML, XSLT, XPATH, XSD, SOAP and REST • Experience maintaining Enterprise Service Bus implementation using Tibco BusinessWorks • Working Knowledge on messaging products including JMS, IBM MQ series, Tibco EMS. • Well versed with Application security including approaches to secure application at Transport level and Message level and good troubleshooting skills • Knowledge on Tibco BusinessWorks adapters and patterns. • Experience integrating with existing systems by meeting pre-defined APIs • Experience providing high-availability applications and data-checking capabilities • Understanding of UML • Familiarity with application design principles, development tools and methodologies, Test-Driven Development, SCRUM, Database Versioning and Change Control • Experience with multiple databases (Oracle, Informix, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL) • Experience in the Telecom domain • Experiencing defining, developing, and building upon complex domain object models, preferably Telecom • Understanding of UNIX scripting and bash shell scripting • Work well independently with strong self-direction and initiative, but know when to collaborate or seek guidance Major Job Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement business logic and architectural components using Java programming language. Design and implement order workflows using Tibco BW. Interact with Business Analysts and the user community during the development process. Produce all technical documentation and design using modeling tools. Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing and/or user feedback.
