*Middleware Engineer* Kansas City, MO 6 month contract with possible extensions Skype Hire Green Card Holder or US Citizen *Role Responsibilities* - Design, build, and maintain the operational readiness of the middleware infrastructure in a 24 x 7 environment. - Install, configure, and maintain Middleware Software (JBoss, Weblogic, Apache and iPlanet) in support of business processing requirements. - Provides level 3 and 4 support (occasionally outside of business hours) for projects and implemented applications. - Assists in the design and ensures projects meet operational requirements. - Maintains a proactive view on the performance of the middleware platforms. - Conducts performance analysis and tunes application to increase performance. - Plans, coordinates and responds to application outages. - Maintains version, patch and security levels, in accordance with the strategic direction of the company. - Communicates technical and non-technical information to technical support groups, customer support centers, end-users, senior management and vendors. - Develops and documents procedures, policies, and how-to to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the business. - Plans, coordinates and executes change management processes. - Increases efficiency by designing and implementing best practices and process auto. * Requirements* - 1 year UNIX/Linux basic system administration (currently using Solaris 10 and Linux Red Hat) - 5 years Middleware Support - Participate in On call Rotation Regards *Sumit Kumar* Sr. Talent Acquisition *T: 248.565.4747 | Extn. 168* Fax : +1-248.254.7211 Tekshapers Inc. 1441 E.
