*Sr. Oracle Fusion Middleware Engineer* Minneapolis, MN 6+ month contract. Phone and Skype *JD:* The Middleware Systems Engineer will provide technical expertise in Fusion Middleware area and is responsible for engineering and administering various Middleware technologies deployed within Land O'Lakes. The responsibilities include installation, configuration, automation via scripting, deployments, maintenance of Oracle WebLogic and Oracle SOA Suite and interrelated middleware technologies running on Linux operating system on Exalogic and Exadata platforms *This role will:* - Install and Configure Middleware systems including but not limited to Oracle WebLogic 12c, *Oracle SOA Suite 12c – BPM/OSB*/AIA/BAM and other Middleware technologies - Provide expert level technical project support for Fusion Middleware upgrade by performing engineering, automation, administrative and monitoring tasks, including installation and configuration of new environments (Non-production and Production), managing patches and upgrades, configuring, tuning middleware systems. - Document and manage changes to existing systems, conduct promotion, and configure and deploy new configurations - *Perform system automation via WLST/Python/Jython, troubleshooting*, daily monitoring and analysis of logs (audit and error logs via Sumologic), thread dump capture and analysis - Troubleshoot complex enterprise-level application issues and provide root cause analysis - Configure middleware app server monitoring using enterprise monitoring tools and make performance improvements to middleware applications - Deliver Middleware engineering support across all systems and ensure that the systems meet or exceed their SLAs - Contribute to the development and continuous review of appropriate practices, standards and guidelines - Collaborate and work closely with other technical teams such as Application Development, Systems Engineering, DBA and Production Services *Experience-Skills-Education (Required):* - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience - 5+ Years of experience engineering and administering Fusion Middleware technologies - Experience working in a 24x7 production environment - Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies – Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c - BPM, OSB, AIA and other components - Strong experience with build and release management tools such as Subversion, Hudson/Jenkins, Maven and Archiva. - Strong knowledge in writing and maintaining scripts using WLST, Jython/Python and/or Ruby - In depth knowledge of Weblogic internal components such as JMS, Security etc. - *Strong troubleshooting experience with Weblogic, SOA Suite and OSB environments * - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems - Strong planning, testing, implementing, and documenting skills - Effective team player with initiative and self-motivation *Experience-Skills-Education (Preferred): * - *Experience with Fusion Middleware Upgrade, Exalogic and Exadata platforms is a big plus* - Experience working in a complex multi-platform environment and applications - Experience working in a Linux/Unix Environment - Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment - Experience in application development using Java, node.js or any other programming language - Knowledge of Middleware products such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Managed File Transfer (MFT), API Service Gateway solutions - Knowledge of automation and provisioning tools such as Puppet/Chef, Docker etc. Regards *Sumit Kumar* Sr. Talent Acquisition *T: 248.565.4747 | Extn. 168* Fax : +1-248.254.7211 Tekshapers Inc. 1441 E.
