*Role: **Data Modeller* *Location: Herndon, VA* *Duration: 6 months* *Detailed Job Description for Data Modeller.* · Translate business and data requirements into Logical data models in support of Enterprise Data Warehouse , Operational Data Structures and Analytical systems. · Have created Logical/Physical data model with data modeling tool like ER Studio, ERWIN. · Understand database performance factors and trends pertaining to very large database design and collaborate with DBAs to implement mitigating physical modeling solutions. · Candidate should possess good knowledge on Dimensional modeling. · Have ability to forward/reverse engineer or generate DDL to create tables, views and the semantic layer. · Good knowledge on Data analysis, Data profiling using SQL's. · Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. · Support development team during design process design and during performance tuning. · Participate in both business & IT planning and in the development & management of project plans. · Support ongoing data modeling efforts. *Overall Qualification:* *Candidate should have Financial Domain knowledge*. Experience in mortgage market is a plus. *Candidate must have hands on experience in Data Warehouse Data Modeling.* Experience in Dimensional Modeling is preferred. Experience in Netezza platform is a plus. Mid-level experience (7+ years with 2+ years of experience in Data Warehouse/Data Modeling) Ability to quickly adopt the environment and deliver.
