*Title: **Quality Consultant* *Duration: 10 Months * *Location: **Pittsburgh, PA* *Interview: TELEPHONIC+ Skype* *CLIENT: United Health Group* *Need USC or GC or EAD only* *Local prefer first* *Job Requirements* IT - Quality Consultant Primary Capabilities: ü Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to oversee creation and execution of test strategy for large business initiatives. ü Ability to construct and execute test cases within web service environment ü Ability to Product test and drive defect management life cycle through to timely resolution ü Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing approach, plans, and test cases ü Establish and maintain test case and test data repository using client appropriate tool suites ü *Expert knowledge of ALM* ü Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance ü Collaborate with key stakeholders, project manager, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze required project documents and best practice artifacts and dashboards. ü Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results in support of all audit and regulatory requirements to ensure system applications are fully compliant. ü Meet with key stakeholders, project manager, system analyst and programmers to objectively provide data driven status and review issues impeding quality domain. ü Oversee and manage assignments, working closely with offshore resources. ü Report status and escalate issues as needed and appropriate within documented and accepted criteria. ü Participate in production implementation readiness, support and achieve stakeholder approval, act as accountable lead for verification and validation of system quality of deployment ü Communicate and interact with appropriate stakeholders on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and or functionality within information technology software. ü Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information technology software. Requirements: *Healthcare Payer Experience is critical.* Successful candidates will have strong experience and expertise in the Healthcare Payer industry within one or more of the typical domains such as – *Enrollment, Provider, Claim, Clinical, or other Constituent Services.* Candidate should demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills so as to professionally and articulately represent Optum in client facing situations. Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED +3 years of equivalent experience. *6+ years of recent QA experience analyzing and writing scripts 6+ years of experience as a QA lead or as a QA Manager * This role is part of Optum’s Commercial Delivery team and requires up to 100% travel Assets: ü *Experience with Software Development life cycle (SDLC) preferable with AGILE **ü** Experience with SOAP UI, XML, SPY and Subversion for testing* ü Project management experience - estimated, planned/managed projects ü Experience working/managing assignments with offshore resources as well as resources located in other locations (i.e. multiple states and globally) *Please send: * 1.
