*SQL DBA Admin* Dallas, TX 6 month Must be USC or GC Must be local to the Dallas area for F2F area. *Education and Experience:* - Minimum 5 years database and SQL experience, at least 1 of which must be in environments with complex, multi-gigabyte databases for financial services ecommerce applications. - Bachelors in Computer Science or related area. - Professional experience with SQL 2014 - Helpful experiences include: Professional experience in Lending or Financial Services, E-Commerce. *Skills and Abilities:* - Must be a detail-oriented, security-conscious SQL Server database administrator. - Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2014 administration and optimization. - Proficient with SQL Server Agent, with the ability to create, schedule and troubleshoot jobs. - Proficient with backups, restores and replication. - Proficient with SQL Availability Groups, Listener, Cluster and Failover. - Ability to tune poor performing queries. - Proficient with SQL Server Agent, with the ability to create, schedule and troubleshoot jobs. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must; you will be working closely with large inter-departmental teams on a daily basis. - Comfortable in a fast-pace environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously. - Must have the desire to work on new, innovative, cutting edge technologies.
