Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *.Net Developer* *Chicago, IL (LOCALS)* *Phone and F2F* *6+ Months* *JOB* *DESCRIPTION: *Our client has a consulting assignment opening for a .NET Developer in the Information Technology – Systems Development group of a dynamic and growing Hedge Fund firm. The Consultant will perform a variety of job responsibilities related to the design and development of our software application platform. The consultant: - Is responsible for designing and developing assigned technical components: i.e. screens, reports, etc. - Will work with the lead or architecture member to create necessary views and other changes to the application under development. - Plan, code and execute unit tests as prescribed in the Consultant guidelines. - Read and comply with project standards including coding and design guidelines, quality standards, architecture approaches and guidelines, code and design review recommendations. - Is responsible for understanding testing, participating in the broader levels of test planning and, on an as needed basis, testing and doing support activities. - Must provide an assessment of the scope, impact and estimated effort as requested for any new enhancement or defect found within an application. - Is expected to produce high-quality work products and assists in the development of documentation. - Will use the established documentation templates to create these work products. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Work and deliver side by side with development team members to ensure a consistent technical landscape aligned to technical architecture vision. - Collaborate with team leads and team members to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented within the existing or planned framework for each project. - Provide assistance and technical guidance to Business Analysts, Software Engineers, QA Testers and other team members in diagnosing and resolving complex defects identified throughout testing phases. *JOB REQUIREMENTS:* *- *2- 5 years of experience demonstrating strong understanding and proven experience of object oriented design and development principles - Demonstrated experience with automated unit and acceptance testing *a MUST.* - Working knowledge and practice in Agile development environment with strong engineering principles (XP, SCRUM etc.) a *MUST.* - 2+ years working in .NET/C# a *MUST* - 2+ years working in web development a *MUST* - 2+ years’ experience with ASP.NET MVC a *strong plus* - Experience with NoSQL databases a *strong plus* - Experience with event driven and message based systems as *strong plus* - Experience building and deploying applications to cloud platforms a *strong plus* - Strong skills with front end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Ability to adapt within a rapidly changing environment and has experience in Agile or iterative software development is a plus - Attention to detail and concern for quality and accuracy of final product (and ability to balance that concern with deadlines) - Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker - Outstanding decision making and problem solving skills - Experience in financial services and/or investment management, a strong plus - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent field - Ability to adapt within a rapidly changing environment and has experience in Agile or iterative software development is a plus - Attention to detail and concern for quality and accuracy of final product (and ability to balance that concern with deadlines) - Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker - Outstanding decision making and problem solving skills *Thanks and Regards,* *Shilpi Bisht* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116|Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* *408-459-1965 [Direct] I [email protected] <[email protected]>* *www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
