Expertise in Software Configuration Management - GIT, Jenkins Cruise
Control, Ant, Maven, ,Puppet, Chef, Shell and Perl scripting, Build &
Release



Operating System: Win XP, Linux, UNIX



Java would be a plus



Needs to have at least 8-10 years of experience and be completely hands on.

1.      Number of years and knowledge on with Angular JS?

2.      Number of years and knowledge on with Ionic/Cordova experience?

3.      Cross Platform UI development experience ?

5.      Ability to maintain and produce Unit Test Coverage





*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*

•          2+ years experience designing and developing hybrid mobile
applications using IONIC, AngularJS or Cordova.

•          Deep technical knowledge of hybrid mobile application development

•          Good technical knowledge of Java

•          Extensive experience using HTML5 and CSS3

•          Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS preferred)

•          Experience with Typescript and/or object-oriented JavaScript

•          Experience with REST APIs and endpoints

•          Expertise with of multiple browsers and virtual devices

•          Understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform Web Development.

•          Familiarity with Node.js

•          Understanding of Gulp and its tasks and processes

•          Knowledge of package handling (Bower)

Analyst and serve as a liaison between the HR/Payroll business communities

*Role Summary/Purpose*

In this role you will utilize a broad set of highly technical skillsets to
architect and implement innovative IT solutions across a diverse range of
infrastructure, platforms and software solutions for GE stakeholders.

*Essential Responsibilities*

·  Provide enabling technologies expertise and work as a partner to promote
their effective use

·  Apply breadth of experience in middleware, RDBMS and web platforms to
architect performant and scalable applications

·  Automate responses to issues in the environment, creating low-to-no
touch rapid responses that maximize application uptime

·  Team with operations staff, solution architects and developers to
maximize automation of critical infrastructure components (e.g. monitoring,
patching, Windows/Unix deployment and administration)

·  Use tools such as Chef, Powershell, Jenkins, Ruby and SCALR to enable
and enhance Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings

·  Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep
abreast of new and emerging technologies; make technology, process, and
application recommendations that can be used to lower costs, increase
performance, and add value to the customer

·  Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work in a fast paced Agile environment
and be able to present contributions in a group environment

·  Create a “trusted technical advisor” relationship with our customer’s
technologists and internal technical resources

·  Implement and drive adoption of cloud computing, infrastructure
solutions and service-oriented platforms across GE

·  Provide deep SW / HW technical architecture feedback to our product
management teams to ensure proper solution design

*Qualifications/Requirements*

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or
Engineering

·  Minimum of 1 years’ experience utilizing Continuous Integration and/or
Continuous Deployment tools and technologies

·  Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Leadership or Infrastructure
technical role

*Additional Eligibility Qualifications*

*Desired Characteristics*

·  Deep understanding of the technology stack to include OS, DB,
middleware, application layer, virtualization and cloud technologies

·  Experience configuring and supporting Cloud computing architectures
(AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)

·  Experience with non-relational databases such as NoSQL or MongoDB

·  Current scripting/development experience with Ruby, Powershell, Unix
shell scripting.

·  Linux/Windows System Administration experience

·  Knowledge of development methodologies in two or more development
languages (Java, .net, PHP, Ruby, Python, NodeJS etc)

·  Ability to break down large amounts of data into categories and drive
projects based off the results

·  Excellent track record of understanding and interest in current and
emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and /
or industry activities

·  Ability to effectively communicate and work with a global team including

·  Six Sigma experience a plus
