*Position UI Developer * *Location : Atlanta/GA* *MUST BE LOCAL * *DESCRIPTION* This position will be responsible for the user interface design and development of a responsive web-based application. Deliverables will range from wireframes, visual design, to functional front-end code. To excel you’ll need a solid understanding of UI best practices, UX methodologies, responsive web design techniques, and the ability to execute your design recommendations in HTML CSS. *RESPONSIBILITIES* - Create design deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity comps, and style guides - Work directly with requirements analysts to create designs used in final development - Guide the front-end development on projects, especially the responsive behavior implementation - Work directly with back-end developers to ensure that the user interface is integrated as-intended *QUALIFICATIONS* *Experience* - At least 5+ years of user interface design for software, web applications, and/or native applications - Strong background implementing projects using interface design patterns and user-centered design methodologies - Creating wireframes, high-fidelity visual comps, and prototypes - Strong background and hands-on experience in developing with AngularJS or React, SCSS CSS, HTML5 preferred - Working knowledge of the Bootstrap framework - Working knowledge of responsive frameworks *Skills* - Ability to thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction - Exceptional observation and listening skills; ability to recognize user experience needs and convert into product design - Ability to work well with a team; values the project, company and co-workers - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong design skills, production value, and attention to detail - Understanding of common software project management practices - Understanding of common software development practices - Excellent grasp of modern front-end development best-practices - An available portfolio or samples of work.
