Core competency is HADOOP - HDFS, hive, HBASE, map-reduce. 2. Key concepts/technologies that the resource shall have expertise in : 1. Linux 2. Java or Scala development 3. Spark 4. Kafka 5. Kerberos 3. Hands on experience writing enterprise Java or SCALA applications against the Hadoop infrastructure. 4. In addition to participating in the development effort, resource will act as a mentor to staff developers new to modern Big Data technologies like Spark. Additional Skill set: 1.
