*Role: Linux Admin* *Location: Collegeville, PA*
*Duration: 6 month* *Job Requirements:* · Strong Linux system administration skills. · Experience with Solaris to support a small footprint of Solaris servers. · Experience with Linux hardening and creating OS templates. · Work independently and collaboratively with other support organizations to troubleshoot system and application issues. · Work with datacenter team to configure redundancy on network, storage, Jumbo frames on UCS blades. · Ability to work with storage team to mask the LUNs to Physical servers, expand disks and file systems on VMs. · Good understanding on hardware & support knowledge on CISCO UCS, Oracle x86, Oracle SPARC. · Provide primary support for production infrastructure (Redhat/Oracle Linux/Solaris) on UCS and VMWare. · Automate System builds & configuration using kick start or PXE. · Applying patches with Yum and Spacewalk. · Experience in supporting Oracle RAC environments on UCS Blades. · Identity Management experience with Active Directory/LDAP/IPA. · Manage all Linux related system deployments and issues and act as last level of escalation for all system and application related issues both hardware and software. · Past experience in identifying and working with vendor support like Oracle, CA and EMC to provide resolution to issues that need escalation. · Provide detailed root cause analysis and suggest workarounds and/or solutions for recurring issues. · Monitor, diagnose and identify UNIX issues that have a potential to cause an incident and take corrective action. · Work with the Information Security, Compliance and Business Continuity teams to ensure systems are hardened and in compliance with the Corporate and Regulatory guidelines. · Automate repeatable tasks using scripting languages like bash, Perl, Python etc. · System config management with Puppet & Ansible is a plus. · Working knowledge on Git & Jenkins is a plus. · Experience with Solaris to Linux migration is a plus. · Disaster Recovery experience is a big plus. *Thanks and Regards* Manu Priya IDC Technologies, Inc, Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035 Work: 408-459-2496 Mailto: *manu.pr...@idctechnologies.com <manu.pr...@idctechnologies.com>* _____________________________________ Empowering Technologies Services Remote Services | IT Services | BPO | IT Consulting | Staffing Solutions | -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
