*Data Warehouse** experience is highly recommended. Location : VA* *Duration : Long Term* *Hourly rate : $45/hr * This position requires performing duties related to reviewing and processing business requirements and generating test cases for all requirements. In addition, duties will include analyzing test results and summarizing testing defects. Develop, implement, document, and ensure adherence to processes and procedures related to full SDLC. The job requires interacting with business and technology partners to produce business and technical system specifications, capture metadata information and document procedures following SDLC standards. Day to day activities: • Works with development, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate to document requirements. • Create and maintain use cases, technical specifications, user interface specifications, release notes, and other system documentation as required. • Work with the business unit or other subject matter experts to identify or refine technical requirements for application under development or being revised. • Communicate clearly and precisely in business and technical terms. • Designs a detailed systems testing plan to ensure an accurate and effective product. • Prepares use case, DFDs, system charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing logic. • Perform data analysis at various stages of project, in order to assure development of a quality application. Analysis can include requirements development, testing, or user acceptance. Must have’s: • Must have SQL skills. • Must have Strong analytical skills • Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Like to have’s: • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred. • 5-7 years system analysis, software development experience • Ability to document technical specifications, business processes • Knowledge of testing tools a plus • Having DOORs, Requisite Pro experience. • The ability to manage projects tasks to aggressive time frames and to ensure that deadlines are met.
