*Network Engineer - Novell Location: New York City Length: 3-6 months Rate: 50/hr* Description: Extensive experience administering Novell Netware 6.5 and OES (Linux) for enterprise file and print sharing. Ability to build and deploy Novell servers and proven experience migrating from Netware 6.5 to OES. Advanced knowledge and experience with high availability setups, including Novell clustering and third party file replication services. Experience administering eDirectory and group policies. Strong understanding and working knowledge of ZenWorks7 and ZenWorks10. Solid experience in environment with thousands of user PCs (Windows XP). Ability to breakdown complex technical issues, troubleshoot in a team environment, communicate effectively, and present ideas in an actionable manner. Strong understanding of common networking protocols, backup and restore practices, and computer hardware (servers, tape libraries, etc.).
