*Position : Automation Tester* *Duration: 4 months* *Location: **Washington** **DC* *QA Testing Analyst II acts as a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Strong hands-on experience with automated test design, test construction, test execution, test results analysis, test results reporting. - Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing processes. Experience with ClearQuest and Quality Center - Participate in application technical design process - Identify test automation opportunities - Plan, design, and develop automated test scripts - Help to enhance automation framework, library functions and object repositories - Re-useable library of automated testing artifacts - Execute tests, document and analyze test results - Report and document defects found during test execution - Present findings to development teams - Develop and maintain good relationship with project team - Provide test services for support activities and work with release management to assure product release quality - Work with development teams to instill testability into development practices - Develop, implement, and maintain quality and test procedures MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED: - At least 6-8 years of overall system testing - 3-4 Years of automated test experience.
