*Job Position: Lead Web Developer* *Location: Long Island City, NY* *Job Length:2 months* * * *Responsibilities include:* • Production of a website built on .NET technology and the Umbraco content management system. • Migration of existing ASP applications a .NET MVC framework, and implementation of validation on existing forms. • Page creation based on existing design templates, including implementation of advanced display and form handling behavior, DOM manipulation, visual effects, and client-side form validation. *Qualifications include:* o Experience with advanced HTML/CSS, AJAX control development, advanced Javascript libraries (such as Prototype or JQuery) o ASP, ASPX, VB, .NET and .NET MVC development o Application integration (application components developed within CMS framework); o and Process/data customization (authentication; integrating data with custom databases); The Lead Web Developer should have at least 10 years of experience in web software development, with a specialization in web content management solutions and application architectures. Experience working with local government and/or very large non-profits is a strong plus.
