Target Rate.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
NASCO preferred
Blue Cross and Blue Shield experience required
Local Systems experience required
High energy and ability to deal with complex work environments
Strong business acumen (specifically assessing business risks and mitigation
plans)
Very strong communications ability
Ability to articulate issues and impacts with executive level leadership
Proven experience managing issues/projects that have significant business
implications
A “take charge” approach and desire to remove road blocks, resolve issues
and mitigate risks
Demonstrated experience in building win-win relationships with Business and
IT partners
Experience with projects that have multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage engagements with “executive level” visibility and
interaction
Technology capabilities are less important, but the must be able to work
with and gain the confidence of technologists
Must have the discipline and rigor to optimally use multiple work driver
tracking and reporting tools
Must have a commitment to produce and deliver high quality executive level
status updates and reports
Solid presentation skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Masters degree
Bachelor's degree
PMP certification

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the business area to develop and deploy tools for integrated issues
management reporting
Works with the business and IT areas to prioritize multiple work drivers
based on business risks
Develop processes and metrics for capturing, tracking and reporting on
multiple work drivers
Ensure that work drivers are completed by SLA dates
Provide executive level status updates
Develop strategic plans for work drivers of high visibility
Daily follow-up with IT Directors on progress in completing work drivers
Escalate barriers/issues impacting work driver completions dates
Monitor metrics for deviations to plans
Attend daily meeting with multiple business areas on issue management
activities
Provide direction and guidance on approach to resolve business and technical
issues
Interface with multiple external vendors/partners to resolve delivery
related issues
NOTE:  Work drivers include system defects, small enhancements and large
scale projects
