It will be* 70% Business Analyst *work and *30% Java development* with servlets. They really need someone who can develop in Java and fully understands HTTP, FTP, and SFTP. Job Description: This is a TEMPORARY position, anticipated to be 6 months to 12 months in duration. Enterprise Transmission analysts *research,* *analyze, and implement changes and enhancements* to communication systems that allow tracing of data through the system, secured transmission solutions, and support the data disaster recovery process. *Function as a member of a project development team and independently to develop minor modifications to existing JAVA programs* and support already deployed software. Ensure tasks are completed on a timely basis and conform to specifications/processes and standardized best practices. *Qualifications* · *Bachelor's degree in technical related field* or related certification required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · *3+ years of experience in IT solutions development preferably in medium to large corporate environments. Experience in systems development and project management.* · Broad range of network, server, and desktop knowledge, including experience with JCL, data encryption, FTP, *Perl,* UNIX, *Java*, communications protocols such as SFTP, SSL, SSH, *PGP,* AS1, AS2, SMTP, and *HTTP*, Visio, and Microsoft office programs. · *Well developed written and verbal communication skills in customer settings* and with internal management. Well developed active listening, facilitation and presentation skills. · Knowledge of basic transportation management. · *Solid knowledge of IT* *software development life cycle methodologies and processes.* · Basic project management skills. Well developed time management and prioritization skills. · *Demonstrated* *analytical capabilities*.
