Good Afternoon, I'm looking for a very good SQL DBA for a client of ours in Houston,TX (Woodlands). They MUST have Hyper-V or virtualization experience and MUST have good communication skills. This will be at least a 6 month contact. If you have anyone please send me their information, resume and hourly rate. Target rate I'm looking for is $45/hr. Below is a brief job description. *SQL DBA--6 month+ contract--Woodlands, TX* -Candidate will be responsible for migrating 100+ DB from old antiquated hardware to a Windows Hyper-V environment. -No specific application knowledge would be necessary. -Client would also need the candidate to work of a POC project to configure a Hyper-V/SQL Server environment with network attached (ISCSCI) connection to Netapps storage solution. -Having a conceptional knowledge of Storage Solutions would be ideal. -Candidate must have experience working with SQL Server 2000-2008 and have worked in an enterprise level environment.
