Hello, I have an *Oracle DBA 6+ month contract in Columbus, OH*. The candidate *MUST be able to do an on-site interview after a successful phone interview*. The candidates need to have experience with RMAN, OEM, back-ups and performance tuning. These responsibilities will be around monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, etc. There is currently a Data Center move being planned which will impact the Oracle environment. The individual will also have responsibilities working in 2 and 3 tier environments. Required Skills: Working knowledge and experience with Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g Day to Day back-up and support Capacity Planning, Monitoring, performance tuning RMAN backups Unix / Linux experience Oracle Dataguard OEM EMC replication Manager Veritas / veritas clustering Desired, but not required: Experience with databases supporting SAP, or any exposure to SAP systems.
