Sr. Java Developer Number of positions: 2 location: St. Louis, MO Duration: More than 6 months Max Rate: $50/hr Required Skills: Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience developing Java, J2EE applications on Web logic Application Server. Must have hand-on experience in EJB, Struts, JSP, Servlet, Spring, JSTL, Struts 2 & 1.2, JDBC, Web-services, AJAX, JMS, Java Script, HTML, J2EE Design Patterns, Ant, Maven, Jdom, JMS. Good understanding and working knowledge on Software Development methodologies (Waterfall, AGILE/SCRUM). Experience in developing enterprise Java solutions following standard/best practices including SDLC, OOAD, design patterns and SOA concepts. Experience with JUnit Testing and knowledge of Continuous Integration. Demonstrated analytical and Problem Solving skills. Excellent communication abilities. Focus on timely and quality delivery of solutions. Experience in Relational Database Management Systems including knowledge of data modeling concepts and development. SQL Server Preferred. Knowledge in Telecom domain is preferable. Well versed in UML modeling techniques using J2EE components, J2EE Design Patterns, OOAD techniques and proficient with tools like Rational Rose, Microsoft Visio. Possess authoritative subject knowledge and versatile experience on a wide area of business processes with strong technical acumen that supports identity as a competent professional in senior level of management. Proven investigative skills with an intelligent and analytical mind; can identify opportunities and work out strategies to realize it. Demonstrated proficiency in leading and mentoring individuals to maximize level of productivity, while forming cohesive team environments. Identify and fulfill training needs for the developers. Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
