Position :- Programmer Analyst
Duration :- 12 months
Location :- NY
The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the
following:
• Documentation may include documentation of flows within the
application to demonstrate approach and paths through the system.
• Executes test scripts in the Microsoft Team Foundation system
environment. Produces performance test results and analysis
• To ensure high quality and accuracy of writing and reviewing
test plans covering multiple components and scenarios.
• Design database tables and develop stored procedures, triggers
as needed.
• Span functional, performance and security testing as well as
expertise in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server to carry out test
functions.
• Excellent communication skills are needed for documenting
functional business requirements.
• Interactive web applications including functional and
regression testing. Identities severity of the defects, gathers quality
statistics, and interacts with members of the development team to
efficiently resolve the defects.
• Participate in the development, implementation and adherence to
project and DOE documentation practices, system standards, policies and
procedures.
• Code new objects (programs) in to meet the functional
requirements needs.
• Review existing documentation and processes around special
education to ensure a strong understanding of existing NYCDOE systems.
Mandatory Skill/Expertise
Seven or more years of experience designing and developing Web applications
using VISUAL STUDIO.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET, XML, HTML,
JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, SQL Server.
Experience developing stored procedures that interface with SQL Server and
Oracle Server.
Demonstrated experience in design and development of large scale .Net
applications.
Working experience on Team Foundation Server, .Net framework 3.5.
Experience using Oracle CRM, Scrum Tools.
SQL Server and Oracle Server for data management.
Active Directory, LDAP, DB2 connect.
SSRS, Cognos reporting knowledge.
System Analysis Skills.
Excellent analytical skills, detail and process-oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
